The first Australia International Wine Challenge held in August 2019 was a great success. For the first time we assembled in one room a glittering panel of the top judges from Australia and around the world, to judge best Australian wine alongside their international counterparts – on Australian soil!

This year, due to the coronavirus-related restrictions, it is not possible to have our international judges joining us. We believe their presence is an integral part both of our judging process and of the underlying philosophy behind the AIWC.

Accordingly, with regret, we have decided to postpone this year’s competition until 2021. We will be in contact as soon as we finalise things.

Despite this postponement, which is beyond our control, we firmly believe in the relevant and future of our competition. We look forward to welcoming you and your wines to participate next year.
